Y CABLE APPLICATION

When connecting SCSI devices externally from an enclosure, a shielded cable is generally desired.

To avoid a "stub" a Y cable may be used. See SCSI Gossary for stub.

The Y cable below was developed for FileNet applications and is available with either 68 pin High Density or 68 pin VHDCI connectors.

P1 is Male, and P2 and P3 are Female.

Example of use - Connecting a Server with two peripherals and the server is in the middle of the bus.
